Hello my name is Sergio last name Cashmoney. I am a 22 year old solider fighting in World War I for Russia. Up above is a picture of our flag. Also there is a picture of me with my friend. I am the one with the hat on. I fight for Russia, my country Forget the nasty huns!! Russia is the best were the mother of all the Slavs. I will tell you about our involvment in the war :)
Week 1- Decemer 8, 1914
Russia is involved in World War I because, there was militarism going on between Great Britain and Germany. They were trying to build the biggest and strongest navy. There was also imperialism going on between Germany and France, they were fighting over different colonies, last the Serbs wanted to be there own country and not be under the rule of Austria-Hungary. They created the "Black Hand" a group of men who kill people. On August 6, 1914 they assasinated Archdue Francis Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and his wife. After the assasination Austria sent Serbia an ultimatum. Austria-Hungary though we helped supply Serbia with weapons, which we didn't. Serbia asked us (Russia) for help.
Week 2- December 15, 1914
The plans to attack, But Germany created the Schlieffen Plan to attack France and hold us off because they had a double front war situation, but we moved faster than planned and took out the west side of their country!! We spent a lot of time in trenches. Up above our some pictures of me and my friends in the trenches. We had good machine guns and cannons. We had enough machine guns to hold em’.
Above is a propaganda poster against us. It is showing how we need to be stopped in te war. That guy eating our country symbolizes them stopping us.
Week 3- December 25, 1914 Christmas (:
We spent christmas out of the trenches. We spent christmas making friends, playing games, and smoking cigars we shared with other soliders. For one day, we stopped fighting. I made friends with three German soliders. How could I kill three men that I became friends with tomorrow when we go to war again?
Week 4- January 5
Well the war finally ended. It didn't effect us much because we were already out of it. Germany was ordered to signed the Treaty of Versailles by the Allies. Germany was blamed for the war. Germany had to pay all the war damages. This included: desruction of land, and pensions to the wives and families of the soldiers that were killed. After totaling all the different costs, Germany had to pay over $30 billion. Germany was also stripped of their colonies in the United States as well as Alsace and Lorraine of France. On top of all that, Germany would limit the size of there once extremely feared military.
